They're introducing Ralphie VII at the CU game today.

I don't give a damn about football but I love Bison. When I take over the ranch I'd like to have some, if I afford all the fencing requirements. They love tearing stuff up just for the fun of it. The new Ralphie is just a baby at 700 pounds. I'm sure you know there is a dedicated team at CU...

    Pontiac Vibe 200 on YouTube.

The Vibe has always been my go to cheap fun car. Loads of room and high revving. We've had 3. You have to know it's a Toyota Matrix with a GM badge. So Freiberger has created a race series with Vibes. All the big automotive Youtubers.

Was this movie the inspiration fot The Dukes of Hazzard?

MoonRunners 1975. They've got The Boar's Nest, Uncle Jesse, Waylon Jennings as the narrator and singing. Their race car is named Traveller after General Lee's horse. The main character uses a bow and arrow like Luke. Maybe everyone knew this but I never heard it.

1970 Dodge Daytona adjusted for inflation.

1970 new price per a newspaper ad $3495 is $29,099 today. $3495 invested in the S&P 500 in January 1970 = $248,026.56 So a like new 1970 Daytona in 2025 is probably over a million.

National anthem terrible is the Chiefs vs Chargers in Brazil.

A black guy in dashiki robe played the the anthem on a saxaphone with a guy on the bass fiddle playing some other song. Maybe some sort of jazz number. Embarassing. Brazil's anthem was so much better. I got talked into watching this game.

how did the 1971 Charger 500 differ from the base and or the R/T?

My '71 Charger is a 500. All the power accesories including AC. Hiddem headlights. (I put those on. I don't think it was available.) 383 4 barrel. Slap stick shifter in the console. It had a vinyl top which I removed. One weird thing is it doesn't have R/T tail light which I despately long...

I guess I'm guilty of bear baiting.

If I have some leftovers I put them out on the back porch for the raccoons, foxes and coyotes. Last night after browning a bunch of hamburger I poured the grease on to a dish then put some stale flour tortillas over the grease to make a tasty snack. The food was gone this morning but the...

Let's talk about a 1969 Charger SE vs base vs R/T

So my '69 Charger is a Special Edition. Here's what I know. It's silver with a black vinyl top. 383 I think it had a two barrel carb. It has a 4 bbl now. A blue leather interior. That's weird but I've seen it occasionally. It has a rear stripe but I don't think that's original. It has...

A follow up to my cash question involving Bitcoin.

I barely understand Bitcoin but are there any advantages to using Bitcoin and keeping the government out of the business of tracking your withdrawals and deposits as it relates to our cars?

Another Hot Rod Rock and Rumble video. Our car is in it.

Look around 19:30. Pretty good video of the whole event but you can skip the last 15 minutes about a '55 Chevy gasser.

    Did anyone go see F1?

Did you like it? It's the only movie I thought about paying to see. I think it's for purchase online now. Trying to decide for that or waiting on a subscriber service to show it.

Strangest car movie ever. Pit Stop.

It's about figure eight racing. A low budget black and white feature. Just about every 50's cars you can imagine. Strange looking beatnik chicks. The info says 1969 but it looked a lot more like 1961. The protagonist is working at a junkyard for $2/hr. Gotta be old! It's on youtube Pit Stop...

    Selling a car for cash?

It used to be a cashier's check was the way to buy and sell cars. With modern fraud methods cashier's checks can be faked unless you go to the bank together. Some people demand cash now days. I forget what amounts the banks now report deposits. I've always liked the fact that profit on a car...
