Oh I get it ... you're one of those guys that wears a belt AND suspenders, right ?!?!?!
There are or were hundreds of thousands of cars on the road with calipers held on by those clips. Get over it !!
Thank you. I've look through both these sites and a few others, great options for aftermarket head selections, but having a hard time finding original. I've toyed with the idea of aluminum heads from a performance view. My goal is to build as close to OEM as possible. The car was purchased with...
What jumps out at me is the “shunt wire” bypass, paralleled/defeated circuit protection for the stock under dash wiring. Should a short occur in the stock unfused wring or components fed by this wiring, it will allow close to 200 amps to flow from the battery before any circuit protection...
I say better in that sometimes improvements are made, but I guess it's probably the same part. I just worry about those clips they used to hole the caliper in. Seems to me pins are better.
I'm trying to find out why my gauge is only showing 1/4 of a tank when its full, and I took out the sending unit twice now. It's a pain in the *** laying on my back, trying to squeeze my big head between the rear and wherever I can put it, to be able to see anything. Takin it apart isnt that...
I'm having the same problem. For me its reading 1/4 when the tank is very close to being full. Weir thing is, if I take the unit out, turn it upside down and test it, it will show 3/4 of a tank. When I try and install it the way it works better, it won't go in all the way. I can only put it in...
My Saturday and Sunday weren't quite as succesful. Lost in the 3rd rd Saturday -.006 red. Sunday first rd -.005 red. My lights have certainly become quicker with seat time. Made 31 passes in the last two weekends. Need to back the starting line RPM down a little.

I don't know how they'd be "better" - what are you expecting to be "better" ?!?!?! It's all about how they fit - where the hose attaches and where the bleeder is - there is no "better".
One thing you do have to take a good look at with these reman calipers (they're ALL remans these days) is...
More progress over the weekend, getting real close now. I got the tail light assembly installed, figured it was high time to get it out of my shed. This also 100% completes the rear wiring all the way up to the dash connector. I still have to install the trim along the trunk lip, but it is...
