IMO leave the windshield factory. By the time it's reinforced and installed for a clean look, the weight reduction is not worth the effort. Lexan scratches, fogs-up and fit and finish are consuming.
Wow that would be good to know and how to know if I would buy one. My friend may also have an original set, not the M's. Just have to see if they haven't been ruined. The real question is how does one determine if an M head is bad. Check the runner sizes or see what they flow? Or is it obvious...
