I found this video, and I am going to try to follow these steps later this week when I have time. The other video that was posted, while a good video, seems to focus on an electronic ignition system which I don't think I have.
I have power (dome light comes on, etc). Yes, I use a screwdriver to jump the starter relay on the firewall, it cranks but will not actually start up. It did last week, but now does not.
I have a 74 Charger SE, 318 automatic on the column. The thing starts, but only when it wants to apparently. Sometimes I turn the key and it fires up, other times I turn the key and nothing. Nada. No crank, the dome light doesn't even fade or blink, nothing. A couple times I let it sit a few...
Clearly the car is totally unsafe and dangerous. I'll save you all the trouble, just send me the car (or let me know where to pick it up) and sign it over to me and you'll be good to go. :)
Is there a step by step tutorial on redoing the front end suspension on a 74 Charger? Basically putting in a front end kit or something similar? There are several vids on youtube (nothing specific to 74 Chargers that I could find, just a 71 and I think a 73) that show certain parts of the...
I was just thinking. If I'm going to have steel trusses, spaced 10ft apart, that means I'd have four total. So I'm wondering if I could just run beams across those 10 ft spans, mounted to the trusses, and hang the bags from those? That would mean the support for the heavy bags was supported at...
So did you decide that I-beams were better and more economical than trusses for the roof? I was thinking about a flat roof but I figured the cost would be greater than just getting four steel trusses and doing a simple gable roof?
Building codes? Snow, rain, wind, what's going on outside? This is a simple support structure meant to hold up punching bags. It isn't meant to be holding up a wall or anything. Building codes outline how to "properly" install a punching bag hanger in an outbuilding?
Anyway, I have discovered...
Depends on what is meant by "greatest". Does that mean "the ones whose music I like the best?" Does it mean "the ones who received the most fame and publicity?" Does it mean "the ones who are the most innovative and influential on other musicians?"
Personally, I put the top 3 like this:
1. Jimi...
I am planning to build a 30x20or24 building that will be used as an exercise gym. One thing I need to find out, and for which I have searched the retardnets to no avail, is the answer to the following question:
With an open span of 20 feet plus I guess an 2 additional feet on each end for the...
I got the car back to the house today. I figure I'll just figure stuff out on my own with the help of the forbbodiesonly experts and Uncle Tony over on Youtube. :) Looking at the car, it really isn't that noticeable unless you are looking for it. What ticked me off today (ha!) was noticing the...
So I have had 1 body man, and 2 different shops that specialize in suspension look at the car, took measurements, etc, and nobody can figure out why the wheels are all offset to the passenger side by about 3/4-1 inch. Next stop is another body shop that has one of those fancy frame alignment...
So, got the wheels and rims on today. Noticed that the tires on the passenger side are further to the outside of the car than the tires on the driver side. Both front and back. Tomorrow I will measure the backspace of the wheels to make sure ProComp didn't send me some two different sets of...
Just got a set of ProComp Series 69 wheels for my 74 Charger SE. Got a pair of 15x8s and a pair of 15x10s. The rims fit the car.
BUUUUUUUUUT.......
The center caps DO NOT. The center caps that come with the Series 69 wheels are about 3/4 to 1 inch TOO SHORT (shallow). The grease cap sticks out...
"73-4 Charger grill mounts complete w/ hardware 75.00"
What exactly are "grill mounts"? My 74 Charger SE needs the screws to mount the grills to the body, and the bolts to mount the inner shroud thingies to the grills. Would these grill mounts include those fasteners?
If so, then how do I send...
