63 Max wedge 3447 original jet sizes

One thing that I found wasn’t very consistent between the various casting runs of 518M heads was the chamber volume. Some were huge, some were smaller than spec right ootb. I’ve also seen a few with fairly significant core shift, as well as very wavy valve cover rails.

No auto park wiper motor on 68 Charger?

I thought it was ok when I repeatedly turn the switch on and off, and it seemed to auto park in same spot… threw the arms on, turned on the switch- bam! Arms go “further down” onto the cowl grille and back up then i turned off and they stopped in middle of windshield! Cant trust it, gonna wreck...

    FOR SALE Carter AFB 3447's

Carter 3447 carburetors from my 63 Max Wedge car. These are in good condition and work fine. Last used back in 1993 (yes I held on to them) and back then in 1993 those run 11 teens. Which wasn't to bad back then for a low budget car. Asking $1600.00 for the pair plus shipping. Can provide more...

No auto park wiper motor on 68 Charger?

Yes, both the two- and three-speed motors auto-park. What you have pictured looks like a three-speed, to me. The "park switch" may be dirty, or one or more contacts at the dash switch. To service the "park switch" remove the cover from the gear sections, and inspect the cam and contacts in...

I learned me something today about torque-to-yield bolts.

That is not necessarily true, the issue here is when it starts to first "yield", which I already defined for this discussion, and when it fails can be rather far apart, meaning when it starts to "neck" down it is becoming thinner in cross-section and ultimately weaker.

No auto park wiper motor on 68 Charger?

So im having issues with the wiper motor that came on a car i bought that needed reassembly. Finally getting to the wipers…. They work fine, both speeds and off. I’ve tried without the arms on. But for some reason this motor has auto park and it never does in the same spot. After a quick picture...

    Knock Off Intake Manifolds

Mopar Performance/Direct Connection isn't developing anything for our older cars. And the part numbers are consistently disappearing for tried and true MP staples.

Dented oil pan going over raised manhole cover. Immediate replacement or can it wait until winter?

You didn't mention your engine but yours looks like the BB 727 version (the easy one)...the first picture in the ads you posted.. They take four 1/4-20 bolts half or 3/4" long.

White plastic ring on steering column?

Believe that they make an all metal one, it does have a small rubber or plastic seal. I have 2 of them on the 2 cars that I have with tubular front suspension. Speedway motors may have them.
