We are in Manitoba. The world is flat. But looking out over Hudson Bay on a clear day, we can see the curve.

    Of course it's a 3 speed, or possibly a variable speed, just not a 68 3 speed!

Do YOU go 3 or more days between showers ???

When I got to my permanent duty station in Germany, there was this guy in our dorm that didn't shower much if at all. The other guys in that dorm room made him hole up in a corner....6 guys to a room and you could smell the bastid still. It didn't take me long to find another room.

    Question about a Dana 60 Vs 8 3/4

Yes. The spooled setup in an 8 3/4" is certainly tough enough for your setup and HP estimates. As well as be lighter with less rotating weight loss. But be wary if you do much street driving? Careful around corners. One harder press of the gas pedal will kick the back end out and into the ditch...

    Question about a Dana 60 Vs 8 3/4

I think it takes >800 HP and a manual transmission to break an 8.75 rear end. My vote, is it will hold up fine even with 4.89s.

Dented oil pan going over raised manhole cover. Immediate replacement or can it wait until winter?

Another one of my stories closely related to this comment. Back in the late 70's I bought a really nice 73 2 dr Chrysler New Yorker Brougham with a transplanted 383-2 engine. It didn't run, owner said he thought there was a hole in a piston. I started getting ready to pull the engine and I...

    Question about a Dana 60 Vs 8 3/4

Building a 67 Coronet 1/4 mile car. I have a 67 Dana 60 3.54 gears all stock I was thinking of using. I know the 3.54's are not ideal, but its a dana. I do not want to change around the dana though as its a good original piece. Probably looking at 475-500 HP 440 with 727, will a new 8 3/4 with...

I learned me something today about torque-to-yield bolts.

It's highly unlikely the bolt that the man-bun wearing, internet sensation was waving around would even be used to secure a caliper torque member to an upright. Just because a bolt torquing procedure lists an angle value doesn't necessarily mean the bolt is a one-time use torque to yield bolt...

Do YOU go 3 or more days between showers ???

I've been seeing commercials a lot lately for "all body deodorants", showing guys spraying into their crotches, down their butt cracks, etc. I personally think it's a ridiculous scam by these deodorant companies, re-marketing their products for "all body use" so that the consumer ends up just...
