I've just bought the "Digi-Tails" kit for full panel LEDs and a sequential indicator option. My plan was to install them this weekend so I'll take some pics during the install andnupload a video of how they perform at night when done.
I'd do a comparison but I switched to LED replacement bulbs...

I used superbright LEDs

Don't know about LEDbulbs but incandescent bulbs have been made that can burn for over 100 years of continuous use. Then they discovered they wouldn't sell many bulbs at that level of quality so that's why we have to buy so many bulbs.

I've been saying this all along but nobody listens.
LED replacement bulbs don't get the light source in the right spot relative to the reflector and lens, causing the light to be pointed at the wrong place on the road. And everybody is too lazy to take the time and aim them properly.

...housing to an unused light. Not something I was looking forward to plus its location wasn’t my preference.
Somehow got the idea of getting LEDbulbs. Put one in that non-working socket and it lit up perfect. Replaced the others with LEDbulbs and all good. They can stay lit and never get...
LEDbulbs for light fixtures are designed either for an enclosed fixture, like a porch light, or they're designed for an open future such as a table lamp. Be sure to get the correct one. The heat kills LEDbulbs designed for open fixtures but used in an enclosed one.
Regarding leaving...
Well I tried the LED lights linked earlier in this thread, and my flasher stopped working. I put it on the left side and turned just the parking lights on.
Seems slightly better. When I turned on the flasher it was very bright but not flashing and I didn't think to get a pic. I put one of the...
I noticed it when traffic lights went to LED around 2000. LED’s are solid state electronic. Incandescent bulbs are basically analog like vacuum tubes, meaning they have to “warm up” to start working.
Funny thing… I’ve noticed a few newer cars with a delay on the off sequence of the turn...
LEDbulbs are absolute junk... Flickering when you run a printer or anything else on the same circuit. Flickering as they start to die a segment at a time. Can't look up at the damn things. They get duller and duller as the days go on. We're all gonna go blind with these damn things. Our family...
I was going to use the switchback bulbs so the DRL are white like normal DRLs.
I was looking at these bulbs:
https://www.amazon.com/AUXITO-1157-...2&sprefix=switchback+led+1157a,aps,197&sr=8-5
When the park lights are actually on they would act like white “fog lights” and switch to yellow...
I switched to led 1157 bulbs in the rear of the super bee. Bulbs light for brake lamp and tail lamp operation but will not blink when directional is selected. Is there a different flasher that needs to be used in conjunction with the ledbulbs?
So, your reply begs this question, on typical round 4 lamp systems with LED Hi/low bulbs, are the LED's operating in either/or mode, or is the Hi Led mode just adding another LED source? If the former, can they both be wired/energized for a "super" hi beam mode? Suspect heat/current might be...
I've noticed in recent years that florescent shop lite bulbs do not last anywhere near as they did years ago. Whether in the garage, or in the home garage, bulbs failed very infrequently. Now, it seems they go out quite often. I've since replaced with led lamps.
Yes still the same silver or whats left of it. The bulb is similar to what you pictured, here they are with a pic from Amazon:
When they were linked I added them to my cart to look at later, and they are so cheap I figured what the hell and bought them while getting some other things. The...
Yes, I would still buy the Putco bulbs for any classic ride. They are the best and brightest LEDbulbs you can buy. Just watch that Cougar video. No tail lights removal or painting required. Just plug and play.
By the thread title I assumed you wanted the brightest tail lights.
