...ground properly unless I added a washer.
I also really like the rubber boot that Canadian1968 incorporated into his design, and the LEDbulbs are also an improvement.
And lastly, looking closely at my lens housings, the bottoms are slightly bowed more than they should be, they need to be...
For my 67 Charger, my ammeter gauge is working fine I doubt if I can find a voltmeter that could be a close match. I've already upgraded the headlights to LED and plan on doing the same for all the bulbs in the car. That should have less of a draw on the cars wiring.
How much of a draw could...
Appreciate this information @twecoom. I’m considering led headlight conversion for my ‘69 Charger. Have looked at the Holley, Vintage Car LED’s and Bangin’ Headlights. Was it as simple as swapping out the bulbs and plugging into the existing OEM harness? Thanks.
Where are the flashers located? I have LEDS in the rear of the Coronet, and both turn signals/flashers work fine. Tried to put the front LEDbulbs in and it wasn't happy.
For me stock parking light bulbs and LED taillights, the stock flasher worked.
LED parking lights and LED taillights required an electronic flasher. I used a neutral polarity flasher, grounded to the ashtray frame, so I didn’t have to mess with the factory plug.
My stock hazard flasher still...
Most of the LEDbulbs that I buy have came from Amazon and they have done pretty good....and I also write the date on them when installed. Even though a couple have expired kinda quickly, the rest have lasted a pretty good while and I like them much better than those pos CFL bastards which never...
If you have your owners manual, there will be a listing of bulb numbers and positions. Top one may be a 1004, lower a 67. LED replacements available. I replaced my interior and exterior bulbs with LED's. What a difference!
You can repair the plastic on the console. Use something along the line...
1967 coronet 440 station wagon w 318.
we changed the voltage regulator to a solid state one along with a new alt and all new headlites and bulbs(not led)
we were having trouble with the stock temp gage and decided to put an old school triple gage set in for the nostalgic look and to make sure it...
Yesterday on my A100 I removed the dash cover of the gauges to clean the bulbs and the reflective area around them and the glass so that maybe the lighting and viewing of the fuel gauge would be better. The fuel gauge is the farthest away from the bulb on that side and it's hard to see at night...
My whole car is Led, together with flashers for Led.
The headlight Leds have their own drivers close to the Led-bulbs.
No relays and the am-meter barely moves with high-beam on (At 650 rpm.).
...slightly dimmer; but when pressed in they’re brighter. I don't think this is unusual seeing some other buttons. Never thought of trying LEDbulbs when doing this work. Those worked great for my tail lights and in the console from another car with a light bar I installed. Just put those in...
...the steering wheel for the wood grain style and the headlights are the Holley retro bright leds classic amber look. All the lights have been swapped to LEDbulbs.
I’m probably missing a lot but in a nutshell that’s it. Ask me what you want. I’m listing it for $20,000. Make me an offer.
Have installed many sets of those E-code Hellas. Only way to adjust is the method mentioned already, pull it up to a flat wall, 15-20 feet away on a flat surface. I will bring fender covers or something to hang over and block all but one lamp, adjust one at a time. The low beams have a...
I put the mini CFL's all over my house here in 2010,
when it was getting hard here to find good incandescent bulbs,
getting outlawed here :blah:
that last at all or of any quality,
when I changed a bunch of fixtures in the house
or just bulbs to CFL's
I've replace IIRC 5 bulb's, total of the...
Holley RetroBright HLED30 Holley RetroBright LEDBulbs - 1157 - Red
Just need to replace the flasher with something not load dependent. See the tech specs.
There should be 2 flasher units, one for normal turn signals and 1 for the hazards. If you have LEDbulbs/lights in the turn circuit you will need either/and an LED flasher unit (for both) and/or a resistor. Just google "LED resistor" and you will see them (gold looking deals with a wire coming...
