I had a Lean Burn 400 on my 77 Cordoba. I swapped over to a Mopar electronic ignition kit & still used the factory Thermoquad carburetor. That was 40 years ago. Pretty simple job.

I've had both kind of clips on the same vehicle & I know they were the factory original installations. Chrysler probably used what was readily available to them during assembly. I always save these kinds of things too for some reason.

Rock Auto has one but, with a button, not a wheel. I got one from there a couple years ago for my old 70 RR & it worked fine.

I know some people like them. They're not ugly, I would just rather see the scallops on the doors.
