    Newest garage toy

I do mine on the car with a dial back light and a 1980s Sears engine analyzer. This will be so much easier for small blocks. I have to figure out how to adapt it to electronic (Mag pickup) and Pertonix (Hall Effect sensor) distributors.

    Newest garage toy

Absolutely! I want to do a theory of operation vid as well, because I haven't found anything in the YouTubeverse.

    Newest garage toy

I'd love to find a schematic/parts manual/operation manual for it. I saw it had a paper capacitor in it. I want to change that before I light it up so I don't roast the vacuum tubes. The housing clamp was froze, I just got that freed up. The vacuum pump belt is loose, so I want to tighten...

    Newest garage toy

I've always wanted a distributor tester. The Sun units can do a lot more, but they are huge and too pricey for my beer budget. I found this Rotunda on market place. Gonna need some work, but the price was right and it's relatively small.

    Opinions on Replicas/ Clones

I had a 440-4 70 GTX survivor. I was terrified to drive it. My wife noted, “I don’t care how many cars you have, just enjoy them. I can see you don’t enjoy driving your GTX.” I now have my ratty 67 Coronet that I drive everywhere almost year round. I’ve been caught in torrential downpours...

What's it Worth Looking to buy this Super Bee... would appreciate input.

20 cash. That will give you enough room to fix all of the things wrong with it. Otherwise let someone else go underwater in it.

    Manual drums

If this car is new to you, just go through everything. Steel lines, rubber lines, shoes, hardware, proportioning valve, add the self adjusters. I did this on my Coronet and it will lock up as good as discs. If you do decide to go with front discs, your 10" rears and small wheel cylinders will...

Convt Top Gaps in Corners - Normal?

Mine has gaps too. The installer bragged about how nice he got the corners. Now that I see others, I’m not impressed.

Swapping cam from one 440 into another

I have the copyright on "Ratty" ;-) As in my "Ratty Coronet" "It looks like it got pulled out of a junkyard, but it runs perfect."

Changing radiator support from 22 to 26

They should have built all cars with 26” openings and make the radiator mounting brackets to fit the radiators. From a bean counter perspective it makes sense, less metal, only 1 stamping die.

Detroit Muscle Technologies Door Seals & Roof Rail Weatherstrip Good?

I got most of my seals for my 67 convertible from DTM and Metro parts. All good stuff that fits and seals well.

383 hard to start when warm

Try this first. Push the pedal down slightly while cranking it. Maybe an inch or so.

    Ammeter not reading zero

Haha, I have the exact same cupholder in my 67. I love it!

Voltage limiter regulator for gauges ?

Senders? no. Gages? possibly. When my limiter stuck closed it cooked the gages and they pegged all the way to the left. Do your gages read anything?

Convertible top lift cylinder rebuild kits

That makes sense. I've rebuilt cylinders in the past that had threaded ends. I'm surprised that 60's cylinders are not rebuildable. I'll be saving up the small fortune for new ones. :wetting:

Convertible top lift cylinder rebuild kits

    A. I'm a cheapskate  B. I want bragging rights to say I rebuilt them.

Convertible top lift cylinder rebuild kits

My 50 year old cylinders leak worst than me. Does anyone know of a seal kit for these, or have a list of seals to rebuild them?
