They should have built all cars with 26” openings and make the radiator mounting brackets to fit the radiators. From a bean counter perspective it makes sense, less metal, only 1 stamping die.

I got most of my seals for my 67 convertible from DTM and Metro parts. All good stuff that fits and seals well.

Try this first. Push the pedal down slightly while cranking it. Maybe an inch or so.

Senders? no. Gages? possibly. When my limiter stuck closed it cooked the gages and they pegged all the way to the left. Do your gages read anything?

That makes sense. I've rebuilt cylinders in the past that had threaded ends. I'm surprised that 60's cylinders are not rebuildable. I'll be saving up the small fortune for new ones. :wetting:

My 50 year old cylinders leak worst than me. Does anyone know of a seal kit for these, or have a list of seals to rebuild them?
