    Color for inner tube.

What color should this inner tube for my 67 Charger? I’m sure it’s not supposed to be a fine rusty brown. I’m thinking silver?

How do I take this off?

I figured out how to take the inner sleeve out, so now I can clean and paint it. But what about taking off this collar? It’s got allot of damage and wouldn’t mind trying to find another.

67 Charger lower steering column bearing.

Is it possible to get a new lower steering column bearing for a 67 Charger with a console shift? I know Classic Industries sell a rebuild kit, but I don't think it has that bearing.

    Lower control arm bushing.

When driving my Charger I’m getting all kinds of clunking and bumping when I apply the brakes and hitting bumps. The sway bar bushings are done, but would the make all that nose?. The steering components are new and tight. I was thinking lower control arms, but I tried to make them move with a...

    Take apart my steering column.

I want to change my charger to a floor shift, so I bought the proper column from a 67 parts car. Is this supposed to slide off? I’m assuming it does, but it’s pretty stuck. I noticed the shaft is coming out instead of this ring.

I think all they did was adjust the toe.

I have a few things I need to take care of and then I will bring it back to them. This time I'm going to stay there and not drop the car off. It does drive straight without drifting, but the caster is too much in the negative.

    Brake pedal arm removal.

My 67 Charger was upgraded to 4 wheel disc by the prior owner and I'm wondering if I need to drill the brake pedal arm. The car has a good pedal and seems to stop well, but the pedal is way too high. It's like a 10-1 pedal ratio. The setup they used for what connects the booster to the brake...

    8 ¾” flange.

I’m stuck on the rear disc brake setup in my 67 Charger. The prior owner put it in wrong. I figured out what he did wrong but unsure of this flange. The instructions say an axle spacer plates goes first before the other brackets for the setup. Do you guys think I will have any problems with how...

    Pitman arm.

I put in a new pitman arm today, but I wanted to make sure of something. I used a breaker bar to tighten the pitman arm and cannot get it any tighter, but there is a gap between the arm and the steering box. The nut is just a little past flush with the shaft. I should have looked to see how far...

Upper ball joint won't take any grease.

I put in a new set of upper control arms and tried to grease them up the ball bearings today. Well, for some reason they will not take any grease. I first I thought it was the zerk fitting, so I changed it. Then I took off the zerk fitting and put it in the grease gun and grease was flowing now...

    Driveway wheel alignment.

I finally put together the front end and put the wheels on. I tried moving the car back and forth and feel and sounds like the damn wheels are going to fall off. :BangHead: I put a level and it was a couple of inches off, it not more. I want to get it a little squared away, but what's the best...

Tie rod sleeve turns when tight.

I found that after tightening the tie rod sleeves they still turn easily. The previous owner replaced them and they look correct, but like I said, they still turn by hand easily. I’m thinking they used the wrong ones?

    Control arm rubber bumper.

Both of the bumpers are shot. I tried to turn it with some pliers and it fell apart. Now how the hell do I take this out? It looks like the nut is attached and cannot be removed. Any ideas?

    Would you trust this?

I installed the drivers side tubular upper control arm and this is how it went. The bushing fits nice and tight, but look at that gap between the arm and where it sits. I bought them from parts geek and it says it’s for a 67 Charger.

More stupid stuff to deal with.

When I bought my Charger, I noticed the rear line for the M/C was crossed threaded. So I recently changed the M/C and went to bleed the brakes and noticed a small amount of fluid at that fitting. I tried to tighten it, thinking it was just loose. It was nice and tight. So, I wanted to see what's...

    Damaged power steering pump pulley.

Where can I find a power steering pump with the pulley that fits my 67 Charger with a 383? I tried the Borgeson 800338 unit. It fit nice, without the spacers anyway, and I could finagle the hard line to work, but the return line on the pump they sent me will not fit between the fitting and the...

    Is bigger always really better?

I found some damage and my power steering pump's pulley. Borgeson makes a new pump, it's there 800338. Only thing is, it's a 6 3/4" pulley and the one I have is around 4 5/8". Does anyone think this would this cause any problems besides maybe a bigger belt?
