As you may have seen in other threads of mine, I bout my first classic this year.
Im looking for good reliable source for information on torque specs/procedures to rebuild/seal my 440.
It has a build from previous owner from years ago so would source the proper specs for the heads...
My first classic car. 67 Coronet. Going to get some magnum 500s on this winter and hopefully track down some body trim. Cheers and this forum is fantastic and has helped me with a ton already.

I am looking for the vin stamping on the block of my 79 440. Cast in 78.
These are the numbers I have gotten so far.
Passenger side casting numbers 4006630-440-4
Just above that casting is the date of 8•7•78
The only stamping I have found is on top driverside pad by distributor...

I got a 67 coronet with a 440 in it. Has hooker headers on it. They rattle off the torsion bars and am wondering has anyone been successful on pulling just the headers to dent them? I did not install or do this build. So just looking if someone has installed those headers without...
Yea matching the year. Yes HP. He wants the heat riser. But I am currently also in contact with another gent from washington and they are cheaper. But has heat riser. Hes going to bring them up to BC and ship them if all goes to plan.
