If you look closely at the webbing, it is amazing how many strands and how tightly woven.
BTW- I just examined the "loops" on my wife's hyundai-
They are NOT breakaway or lengtheners.
Just a well stitched loop that's not part of the main belt.

Well I have made no actual progress on the project except to collect parts. Been sorting and cleaning up my parts pile. Popped the lid on this tote full of carbs and alternators. This should be fun…..
