    Borgeson Update

I could be mistaken, but I don't think Bergman modifies the pump. When he sent a replacement for mine, it was shipped straight from the supplier and didn't go through him.

Question about a 1970 Plymouth road runner

You're only 2-1/2 hours away from him. Go take a look at it...look for the rust and overall condition. Take pictures. Satisfy the itch. An already finished RR will cost you less.

In an earlier post, I drove my '66 Imperial from San Diego to Chicago on its maiden voyage after I bought it in 1996. After I got it home, I then drove it from Chicago to the the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle in 1996, '97, '98, and '99. In 2000, I moved back to Pennsylvania, and sold all my...

Right on - that's the way to do it! I'm sure it was an awesome trip - especially driving a convertible in some of the great parks.

WTB WTB - B/RB Factory Timing Cover

Anyone have a factory timing cover for a '69 440 build. According to online resources, I'd prefer part number 2658454. This has the curved timing tab that sticks off the cover 3/4". I would entertain the later models, part numbers 3830797 or 3698614. Regardless which one it is, it needs to be...

Question about a 1970 Plymouth road runner

The video guy posted a picture of it too: Do I see a grille emblem next to 'Plymouth'? I guess a prior owner personalized it.

    Center dash speaker mounting.

There should be 2 small studs near the defrost vents to mount the speaker. The speaker also requires an adapter plate from the factory. This is the adapter plate:

    Sundays......

We will use a drill and pre-lube the engine, so I'm not so worried about bearings. Given the issues with flat tappet cams during break in, I AM worried about that during startup. I'd re-lube the cam and lifters.

Do you remember what kind was used? If it's the oil based red stuff you should be good. If it was some kind of grease it might have dried out or hardened.
