the one you posted the link for is labeled for use with transmissions and power steering. I think it should be ok.

The TTI system has 'slip together' joints with clamps...no welding required.

At that point it's called a power steering fluid flush. Never a bad idea.

I guess that someone could disconnect the return line and watch how much fluid comes out of the hose. No matter what, if the fluid contacts the exhaust manifold or header I would not want to be around that.
