    The '68 Charger in Christine.

To be honest, I can't remember. I was not into Mopars at that time, still have my 67 Camaro I was given when I was 15. The book itself was way more into the demon spirit that over took Arnie, and not so much about the cars.

    The '68 Charger in Christine.

After watching the movie, I had to read the book. One of the few times the movie was way better than the book, imho.... My favorite character was Darnell, "You just can't polish a turd"......, great actor for that role.

This could be bad! Giant Car Parts Company That Owns Fram And Raybestos Just Filed For Bankruptcy $2 billion Missing

WOW, had no clue First Brands owned and operated that many auto products companies, and yes, most of us have purchased some from all those companies. As XS stated, I bet the majority of those companies have moved production to an Asian country. And with the new tariffs in place many will have to...

Nearly half of drivers killed in crashes had THC in their blood...

As with all drugs consumed into the body, the body begins immediately to rid itself of the offender. Two weeks is a long time if one application is still measurable for that amount of time. We can measure alcohol in the bloodstream and determine that over said amount , driving is impaired beyond...

Things the car factories did that made no sense to you

And didn't many all these different Ford engines require a unique transmission? Mopar was better in that you only needed one for big blocks and one for small blocks, but GM nailed it, in that most any tranny will bolt up to any block, big or small.

Do YOU go 3 or more days between showers ???

My Mom, one of six, never had running water till she was a teen ager. They all took a bath in the same tub of hot water boiled on a wood stove. She said at least the three girls got to bath first. It's true, dirt doesn't kill kids she said....the smell , maybe.....

High reading in my amp meter

As an electrician, I have used clamp ons for amp metering for many, many years at the plant. I have total faith in using them for all levels of AC current feeds. But do not trust them for low level DC feeds. Im sure they have improved by todays standards, but I would install a second manual...

When was the only Nascar race I ever attended.....

Because of your post , WileE, I did some digging and finally found the exact race I did attend when I was 12. I was incorrect on several "memories". The race I attended was the Rebel 400 at Darlington on Mothers Day weekend of May 9, 1970, not the Firecracker 400. Petty only led three laps...

    Wheel cylinder rebuild kit recommendations

While I was not paying attention, it now looks like most all the Dot 3 on the shelf at the auto parts store, is now listed as synthetic. Is the synthetic stuff as hydroscopic as the old Dot 3? Why the change, is it better or just cheaper to make? I have a 68 GTX that's going to need total...

What should I do with the dash?

Once it s out you can see and repair/replace any butchered wiring. The rodents can really do some damage. Best time to do any mods needed for radios or gauges, fix air vents and best of all REPAINT. Whatever paint I use, I finish up with a matte finish clear coat. It covers and protects a bit...
