"Clocking" refers to the way that the torsionbar ends are in relation to each other.
Call it a "twist" if you will. It is nothing the installer does, it is how the bar is made.
was watching the show Texas metal last night (something I almost never do) and they were working on a 65 Belvedere. they were swaping out the aluminum headed big block to install a modern 392.....well when they removed the front suspension they chop sawed the torsionbar …..Efin Hacks.....
Have you seen this four page document for reassembly? If you have I apologize for sending it. it definitely helped me.

Not really but then again I have not messed with a lot lately. I did play with unbolting the torsionbar but in the orientation I had the gate it was still under tension. I later figured out that I needed to have it more closed (I think). Its really kind of confusing, the manual isn't clear...
After pulling the starter to secure the wiring, as it was loose on the terminal, my question is how can one adhere or "stick" the Header Gasket to the Header when attempting to re-attach the header to the engine?
1. Drivers side
2. 426 Hemi
3. TTI headers
4. Torsionbar in place
Can a person use...
The way I would do it is mount the steering box and idler arm then attach the link. Tighten everything as you go. Can’t forget that way. Then I’d put the rod ends into the tie rods and mount the inner end to the cross link. I’d leave these adjustments loose, let tie rods hang. Next I’d pull...
Thanks! I think I'll just stick with changing the ratio and adding posi then.
I chose this shop very carefully and have been working with the owner for months on planning this upgrade. They are licensed to install TREMECs in B body mopars from a company that makes a kit especially for doing so...
HI. It sounds like you have a fun project in your future. One additional item that will play into this is your selection of tires (and probably wheels). Sticky tires are going to be the most important part of making your car handle better. Other items will need to be addressed, but without...

This is kind a what I was wondering about with modifying the alignment to improve the steering as reading about in another post (How much caster is too much?). I mentioned having jotted down info and lost those notes, but thought could it be too much for the oem suspension/linkage without some...
Reading the posts, I posted a thread about my Firm-Feel II install on my '63 Plymouth. What's happened is the left end rod has rubbed against the torsionbar (photo) shearing off the grease fitting and more (how I discovered the ill) and the cross link playing violin on the left TTI header...
I thought i would send another update.... after further inspection.... my torsionbars were the wrong ones .88 and i have a 440 and one of the bars was actually bent! I bought PST 1.03" - they installed perfectly and the car rides like a champ!
What prompted me in my last post was I thought...
Thanks for being nice and spelling it out for me! ... I can update you (PM or here) on how it went... Everyone has their specialty. I've never done this before. I am doing EVERYTHING myself, not an excuse for ignorance, but just because I have a bit of a learning disability, and it takes me a...
Hahaha. Wow.
Yet another reason for me to not watch those programs. The "manufactured drama" turned me off of those shows years ago. I like to learn things and be entertained not frustrated.
So, finally got to spend some real time near the car since I first posted the initial pictures. Did a bit of digging. Knocked around the frame rails to the degree I could reach with the car on wheel dollies (which was quite a bit despite laying on the freezing concrete floor). Also after...
So some "idiot" removed every part of my entire front suspension a "couple" years ago (engine/trans/K-member not removed), and now he can't figure out in what order to re-assemble.
The car is a '73 Road Runner. Frontend is on jack stands.
This "idiot" sandblasted and painted and/or RPM (Rust...
