Latest update for the roll cage. I’ve completed both dash runners, tucking them in as close as possible to the pillars. I’m fairly happy with these and after seeing a ton of race cars cages, I’d say these run equally if not better fitment then many of what I’m seeing.
Next up is door bars with...
I’m getting ready to install the Borgeson box in my car. I installed one in my friends car a while ago, there’s no noise whatsoever and it steers perfect. He bought his at the same time he bought mine for the labor to install his. These were purchased in 2022 I believe.
Dennis had a Duster in the book. The book is great, one of the first books I read as a teenager. There's plenty of auto-bloopers in there, Stephen King has no clue about cars. From memory he says it's got fuel injection with a 4 barrel carb and fuelie heads or something.
You have to not only BE a car guy to appreciate Two Lane but you also have to be old enough to have lived in that time.
I didn't. In 1972, I was 6 years old. Although I've been into cars since I could walk, you had to be of driving age to really get it.
Two Lane moves S-L-O-W. The actors are not...
Like I said I'm not blaming Peter or BAC. His customer service is excellent. Also my steering setup was installed in 2016, and has been working great for 9 years. So even if the the pump is bad I would recommend this setup over stock steering box any day.
Here are a couple observations I had about the movie.
I liked the movie and enjoyed it when it was new but there are numerous holes in the plot along with stupid things the characters did.
That Moochie guy....when the Plymouth had him trapped, why didn't he climb up and over the hood to get out...
When a vendor sells products that they have not built themselves, it isn't right to blame THEM if the part fails unless they knew that they were selling defective components. If the vendor responds and tries to help, it shows that they are at least trying to honor the deal and want you to be...
I wouldn't be against that if they put out enough pressure. Of course when you start making changes like that, you need a more powerful alternator, maybe wiring modifications, etc.
I tried running hydroboost in 2022 and it was a failure. I read from people that advised against it with the...
I was thinking of making a shelf with multiple plug outlets for all the different battery chargers. Then I noticed there are several on the market that are fairly inexpensive.
I'm not going to mess with that anytime soon, too many other projects. Found that I have at least two different DeWalt...
The last video you posted sounds just like mine. I bought mine as a complete kit from Peter at BAC. I did have a problem with the pump. When I did the initial install. I had almost no power assist, this was while trying to bleed the system with the front tires off the ground and turning the...
Slight derailment:has anyone heard of using an electric pump, like a Volvo unit with one of these boxes? It came up recently in a YouTube vid from a former MT guy, Cotten.
I curse at the car at times but I’m sure I curse at work way more. I work from home and this is when I’m not in a video meeting but I’m often wondering out loud wtf kind of @#$$ is this? Stupid mot@#$%^&s!
