Just a lynch road 440 4 speed car. Thinking the 4-4.5 months is acceptable. I actually don’t care but if I’m doing a car and things like date is important to buyers and I have the option to do it, it makes sense and protects the investment a Bit better
if that's true, it definitely could've been from a file, sure what it looks like. i just don't want that to be a spot where the lobe catches or wears on and makes it fail prematurely
Are you sure about the costruction method? I think maybe you will find the center welded to a hoop that is riveted to the main hoop.
Pretty sure no one can weld aluminum to steel.
not the finish, but the small indentation on the bottom right edge of the lifter face. sorry for the crappy photo, it's a bit hard to get a good picture of something so small and i think uploading straight to this website lowers photo quality some.
okay good to know, i didn't know if not having seat pressure on the lifter would prevent or make the lifter spin too easy in the bore and not give a good indication
yes .904 lifter and yes that indentation on the edge. it looks like something scraped it when you get a good eye on it (sorry for the low quality photo). cam specs are .474 lift. 280 adv duration. 110 lsa
Howdy Folks, been active on FABO quite a bit as i own a 71 Plymouth Duster, but I'm jumping over here to do some research on 440 Big Blocks which i think are a lot more popular over here than for the A bodies.
Toying with the idea of replacing my 360 small block with a Big Boi motor.
