    Brake flaring tool question

Have a Blue Point[ Snap On] version of this unit. Bought it in the 70's. I found it always leaves two little ribs on the flare that are almost impossible to get stopped from leaking because the nut can't sit down fully. I learned that after flaring, I could take a small file to the ribs and...

    Max wedge 413 questions

On a 426 or 440, should be fine. On a 413 block, you will need to cut reliefs into the top of the bores to clear the max 1.88 exhaust valves. I think factory 426 maxes got reliefs too. You might be able to sonic check the block, and bore the 413 .0625 to standard 426. That way you might not need...

    Updating the Super Street Mopar

Today I finally found the leak in the rr caliper. After putting 3 quarts of fluid through to get all of the trapped air out, can has a few air traps, one of my friends came by and we found it. Still had a little air in the system, even after using my new Phoenix unit. Once it finally burped out...

Where did you and your car go today

Thanks - sitting at 285k miles now. Cummins/six speed stick/4x4. I put a clutch in it at 250k. I have rockers and cab corners that I need to get put on (I should have learned how to weld...), but other than that, no complaints. 20mpg like clockwork!

    Left hand thread lugnuts

Nope....how is this procedure done ? On my 69 Charger it was a piece of cake to remove the left-hand studs by pounding them out with a hammer and then insert the right-hand ones in the drum. Tks, Bob32268

Not something you see often, so no idea if there is any demand. These are in nice shape. Chet's has a rough set on ebay with pivots, so I'll put these up at $150 shipped. Includes the squirters.

It's called smiles per miles. It comes from a feeling, not a paint job. I think you have it figured out!! Enjoy and be safe!

What do you think of these rims on a Charger?

Ugly, Ugly, Ugly. Modern wheels on old school cars don’t mix. Did I say ugly?

    Brake flaring tool question

If you decide to flare your own brake lines, don’t forget the flare nut like I’ve done after I made a perfect flare.

    Flex plate crank bolt craziness?

Hey, guys, I'm running into a weird situation. Most of the flex plate bolts that bolt, the flex plate to the crank on a mopar big block are supposed to be 7/16 thread. I've got a 383 that is a early 68 engine. It may even have a 67 casting date. But i'm telling you, the seven sixteenths bolt...
