Odd cooling issue. Would appreciate input

Fan Dan - not too worried about that, just not sure I need it yet. Might go with a 160 stat depending. Good idea, though. Jee 62 - right when I fire the engine, the temps immediately start dropping into the high end of the safe zone. Once air is moving through the radiator at street speed...

    SOLD Mallory RB 2557801 distributor

Suprise! I opened the cap and no breaker plate or pickup. Part number is for dual point, but has the unilite rotor. Like new condition with new rotor and low use cap. Has directions for converting to unilite. Repair your dual point into this, or add a unilite or pertronix pickup. $50+shipping

Can the torsion bar go in wrong?

Do it any way you'd like, just don't do it with the control arms on the jackstands!! ( if you do it on control arms, could get ugly real fast. Put stands on frame rails)

WTB I am in the beginning stage of looking for a 1968 Superbee to purchase.

I did look at the "cars for sale" forum and did not find anything in the past year other than a complete project which I am not interested in. What I am looking for is a decent driver that has the original bulge hood, no rust, not red, not 4 speed, and not hemi (don't want to pay that kind of...

Odd cooling issue. Would appreciate input

If you’re not worried about stock appearance, you could get some electric cooling fans that will stay on when the car is shut off until the car cools down.

Dorman Power Window Motor Part Number??

Hi All, I have a 1968 Charger RT with power windows. I received replacement motors from Dorman that I’m told are correct for my car. I specifically need the part number for the front passenger window. It’s seized. Is it 742-300 or 742-301? Are the motors the same for the drivers front/back and...

    weight of hood

My memory is semi-faulty, but I remember weighing my 62 savoy hood the last time it was off. With a hole in the hood covered by a dart raisin bran scoop, it was 75 lbs. I don't think a 63 will be significantly different. I have been told here that that must be wrong.

The better question should be, how fast or does it return to a normal range after start?

Aftermarket or late model seats in Early B body cars

i noticed that when I installed the SRT4 seats, the car felt as if it rode better as strangers that sounds. The stock seats were sort of springy, the later model seats were like better shock absorbers where they had one bounce then stopped moving.

Odd cooling issue. Would appreciate input

Hey all, A little update on this - turns out my t-stat was stuck open. So I replaced it with a 180* and it cools fine but still creeps up in traffic. Since the old radiator in the car had a pinhole leak I ordered an ACC 22" unit. It cools fine but when I was running the old stat, the temp...
