    2000 stall converter

Will you be alright? Sure, it will run and move. Will it be a good combination as far as sharp performance? Not at all. A 509 is a fairly large cam, for a small cubed short stroked motor. Throw an extremely small 2000 converter, and you have a package like a turbo waaaiting to get into the...

Well damn, guess I won't be buying parts for awhile!

When I parked my truck at age 69, my wife nagged me into dusting off my law license, and look into doing pro bono work. Anything remotely interesting had younger folks in line, trying to build their resumes. After a year, my wife gave up on the process, and I starting saving $2000 a year by...

    Weird non Mopars you like?

Man, that's crazy. I've always been an Art Deco fan. I wonder how much $$$$ that is. It looks like what an Academy Award winner would arrive in, in 1939.

    1962 Belvedere Transmission Issue

Possibly. I did re stake it when it was rebuilt. New springs and rollers as well. I think it has been doing it for a while. Usually when I back out it is on gravel so I thought the noise was the rocks. But it isn't. I may be able to capture the noise on video so I will try this afternoon.

Well damn, guess I won't be buying parts for awhile!

My wife took a buy out from Penn State when she was 64. Under PA law, she was also entitled to six months of unemployment compensation. She was reluctant to file, partly because it required applying for three jobs a month, and she didn't want to go back to work. Our attorney laughed at her...

Ticking noise - think it's the fuel pump - thoughts?

Stick your finger in there and roll the crank a bit to see how much slop is in there. ( sounds a bit weird ) Maybe the nylon sprocket is coming apart

In Asia older professionals are treated with respect for their years of experience. In America older professionals are considered obsolete.

    1974 Roadrunner Re-Paint

I have avoided the 73-4 due to metal not being available. I like those a lot. I do think the tin grille truck patches for over the wheels might be a possible thing to try if needed. I keep getting the itch for a different car. Then I see stuff like the inch or more of bondo that was used and...
