What Part/s Did You Buy Today for Your Hobby or Project ???

Jeep drives fine...99% of the time. Hit the wrong bump, though (usually an angled train track, or an angled road patch)...and death wobble. BAD. I've done shocks, a front track bar, a steering stabilizer shock, and a balance...still happens. Less often...but still. And I can see the bushings are...

Ticking noise - think it's the fuel pump - thoughts?

I concur. First tighten down all the header or exhaust manifold bolts and collector bolts. I had a similar sound pop up on my car on a long drive and my fellow mopar friends and I thought it was a lifter. As it turned out, 2 header bolts had loosened a few turns. Tightened them back up and the...

What Part/s Did You Buy Today for Your Hobby or Project ???

A couple years ago I rebushed the GTX with poly bushings and installed QA1 uppers, it dramatically changed how the car feels. I’m hoping for the same result with the truck. Not that it’s bad, but the mid 70’s suspension geometry can be improved upon.

The Elephant In The Room: unloading the load from a B-body.

A fresh coat of dull aluminum was just applied to the handmade wafer thin steel bumper that itself is probably lighter than an aluminum one. Note: aluminum carriage bolts. Less than a month away before this pup sits exposed for all eyes to see it up close. The display will be minimal, but the...

Toggle switch for efi fuel pump?

Always a relay and the switch goes in the signal to the relay not the main power wire.

If I remember correctly the shaft needed to be farther forward for proper engagement at the box coupler joint.

    What's your favorite 50-year-old car?

I just purchased some original artwork with a black G/A and a Warthog A130 blasting over it, from a guy in the UK. It hasn't arrived yet, and the ad is down because it was 1 of 1 piece of artwork. When it arrives, I'll post a pic.

    Dilemma For My Sunroof Car

You may not have the fender tag to document, However, factory installed sunroof can be identified by the roof being stamped to produce the opening and not saw cut like a dealer/aftermarket installed roof. Look for the stepped flange as an indicator. I have a '78 power wagon with factory...

Center. The middle. The steering shaft is not centered in the housing, it is off center toward the engine. Look at the gap around the center shaft where it meets the column housing.

62 Fury stainless trim clips nylon/plastic roof trim

Does anyone know where I can get the white nylon/plastic trim clips that retain the wide stainlees trim on Plymouth Fury, on the roof line above the doors/ above the drip rail. There are 6 per side. Could use 12 of them. Looks like there was a push pin inserted to expand them to keep them in place.

What Part/s Did You Buy Today for Your Hobby or Project ???

Getting ready to do the same for my Wrangler. All the bushings are shot (19 years and 115k miles...go figure). Going with Core 4x4 tubular adjustables - front and rear, upper and lower, as well as adjustable track bars. Same deal - made in the USA. Also, the cheap-o's have a crimp in the bend...
