1968 Dodge Charger: Black interior -
What sheen of black are the metal trim pieces on the side and front to help hold up the headliner?
What sheen of black is the background of the rear tail lights fixtures?
What sheen of black is the steering column?
What sheen of black is the back of the...
Kern you are probably already aware this, but you will have to relocate the spring perches. The Polara housing has the perches at 47.3" inches (center to center) apart. Your Charger has it's at 44.0". That being said for anyone else doing this mod, Dodge 1/2-ton pick ups of this same era use...
As a stage and concert lighting designer...I agree. Hence my comment about good optics on the Hellas. The HID/LED sources I use are brighter, and the Hella optics make sure to put it in the right place downrange. The spread is even, it doesn't blind oncoming drivers, and the spill to the sides...

Trust me. I already thought about just cutting my losses, but I really dig this body style and I’m not selling it so I decided to go through with this and I’ll know what I have when it’s done. It’s only money and I ain’t taking it with me and I ain’t getting any younger.
Thanks for this info! I have heard good things about this service from multiple people, and no one has had anything bad to say about them to me so far. Sharing your experience is much appreciated!!!
Let's hope some of your luck will rub off on me! No matter how good of a deal you get on one of these cars, you are most likely going to be upside down to some degree, and I can accept that. It is precisely that "fun factor" you mentioned that I am looking for. I think I told the story that...
