There are always a few NOS ones on E bay but they are $300+.. The price you have to pay. The sellers know the repop ones are not good and the NOS ones are worth gold. That's why I will try the original I found.
Wow.. that's exactly what I did before moving to the frame. It worked quite well... until I started really putting demand on the systems and went a different direction. But, what's pictured is a solid solution... been there, done that and was happy with it.

I ran with return-less EFI for a while (Sniper EFI, Atomic, etc.) and in all cases the internal regulator became problematic. I moved to a return-based system with external regulator to get more control... and the byproduct...
Probably worth noting: I did replace my MSD pump this year (10 Years old probably 15,000 miles or more), still worked but got noisy and performance became erratic.
I always ran it as PWM which made it more quiet.
Everything I've read/heard is that it's much preffered to run an in tank pump.

I started out running an inline Holley pump half-way between the tank and the throttle body, but decided that in-tank was much better. So now I have an in-tank Holley pump the correct rating for the Sniper, and it runs perfectly all the time.

i have a 73 dodge charger.. i currently run an aftermarket wheel and want something different.. my current set up is 15x7 with 4" BS on front and 15x8 with 4.5" BS on rear... 235/60 on front 275/60 on rear.

And I would be extremely hesitant to locate any fuel components in direct line of tire rotation, because of potential flung roadway debris and having witnessed the damage tire carcasses can do when delaminating at speed.
