You've got to compare the time and cost of materials and tools, to just buying a new glass. The guy doing the Superbird glass had 5 hrs. and who no's how much he had in cost for all those sanding pads and the polish. Might be a coin flip as to what to do.

Yup: It would take quite a bit of cash to get the subject project hardtop up to the condition of your convertible. Much more than what it seems like it would. A lot of us that have built several cars know that it adds up in a hurry. Think radiator, carbs, exhaust, clutch system to name a few...
