    Lookie what $5000 buys you....

One thing you might want to consider... Sometimes having the axle perfectly centered over the springs doesn't mean they are perfectly centered in the car... I prefer to have the tires/wheels bolted to the axle, the perches set on the locator pins & the housing cradled in the perches... Now...

Bought a big *** air compressor today

Bought a big *** air compressor today Strange choice of words. A literal interpretation leads one to believe that that your *** needs a massive volume of outside sourced of air.

Bought a big *** air compressor today

Went over to Montana and picked this up today, came from a sawmill that shut down a couple years ago. The air tank is a 500 gallon propane tank. I plan to drive the pump with my tractor PTO and use it for sandblasting, maybe a pumpkin cannon too. I just thought it was cool and had to have it!

    Lookie what $5000 buys you....

On another note, I'm using this car as a test mule for a rear shoulder belt project. Rear shoulder belts in a 1970 Charger I'm also planning on installing rear shoulder belts in my red car, Ginger. The seat belts will replace the lap belts in the left and right rear seat passengers but not...

    Lookie what $5000 buys you....

The Polara axle has been stripped down and the perches are now 44" apart to fit in Jigsaw.... I was 1/16" off from left to right. 6 5/16" to the backing plate on the left, 6 3/8" on the right. (Don't tell the car show judges) I may look for some used tires to put on these wheels just to...

What do you think of these rims on a Charger?

I like the rims in Post #35 - not too gaudy. They compliment the car nicely rather than distracting from the car itself.
