On my 69 Charger with efi tank (but stock dimensions) the middle of the tank is the lowest point to the ground and that's where the stock sender pulls from.

You can have Steer N Gear rebuild this box and your pitman arm at the same time. Their quality has been inconsistent lately. Money is better spent on a Borgenson upgrade.
