My '05 Magnum R/T came with Continentals from the factory. They were $hit! I bought the car as used 3-year-old with only 18,000 km. on it, and the tires were pretty well used up already. I replaced them with BFG's.

Not a great deal, just to keep the airflow consistent between each cylinder test. The OP was concerned about an 8lbs swing, so you want to be sure that the test is as accurate as possible.
