    Questions about front shocks.

If the car is on jackstands or a car lift, yes...the upper control arms should droop enough to rest on these bumpstops: If you have tubular UCAs.... If the suspension is at full droop and the upper control arm does not touch the bump stop....yeah, the shocks are too short. People advise...

    Questions about front shocks.

Gene, I would say you have the wrong shocks. If the shock bottoms out/goes solid before the bump stop takes the hit, why bother to have bump stops????

Coil pickup and reluctor change out?

There should be two wires coming from the dist. Measure the resistance between the wires. Should be 100-400 ohms. Then measure from one of the wires to the dist body. Should be infinity. If both readings check out ok, p/up is ok & does not need replacing. Where the wires are burned: slice some...

    Thosaf extractor set junk

I NEVER use that type of 'extractor'. Extractor is a misnomer, should be called a 'jammer'. The design is such that it tends to jam the broken piece in even harder.

Yes, sounds like the oil filter is allowing drain back, probably a leaking internal valve.

    Updating the Super Street Mopar

As is the case with me, I've stumbled through life unaware of problems that might lie ahead, somehow averting danger, all the while the Guardian Angel has cleared the path for me. I've never encountered this issue but am at least aware of it now.

    Don't feed this to animals.

Looked it up and it’s an artificial sweetener, I believe for the most part all artificial sweeteners are bad for our pets and so probably wildlife too. Obviously not great for us either, but I think it can make them sick or croak in less time than a human.

    Set your clocks back TONITE.....

Reminds me of the guy who found out he had triplets. Said he wasn't surprised, he had a c like a chimney. Doc said you should get it swept, the kids are all black.

    Cutting hood for scoop

Had the hood off and I did the diagonal measurements from the engine compartment to find the center of the carb stud location and copied the measurements to the hood, but if the hood is on, you could just close it on a long air filter stud to find the center of the hole location. Anyhow...

    PSA Pay attention out there..

Wheel chocks are not that expensive. On my truck, I had used wheel chocks, but forgot to also use the emergency brake when I pulled the valve body out of the transmission. Truck still try to roll, but good thing I had the wheel chocks.

    Updating the Super Street Mopar

I saw this chart posted at FABO: It seems that you stumbled into a problem that has been known for years. It was news to me too. Oh, the urethane front bushing in those springs will certainly give a harsher ride!
