Are you a 0-60 guy or a top speed guy?

I took a friends Kawasaki GPZ-1100 up to 141 mph (according to the speedo), when the thought of a front tire blowout went through my mind. Right back down to 60 mph, and never ventured past 75-80 on two wheels again. I'll be plenty happy if my coronet breaks 110-115 in the 1/4 mile.

When I first bought the Charger in 2000.... I wanted to step up the quality over what I'd done with my other cars. I wanted to stick to stock with some things and do other things a bit different. I'd go to car shows and ask questions. How did you do this? Where did you find that? It was...

FOR SALE 1964 stage 3 max wedge heads 2406518

Nice heads and a fair price, but the ports appear way too large for NHRA Superstock and of course definitely not legal for stock. They are great for a clone or show Max Wedge where they will never be torn down or inspected off the car!

Will this look good on my '65 Coronet?

I like the scoop but how are you going to mount it? No studs

The cost of a paint job.

Someday I might add up the receipts for the body and paint materials. Maybe. Of course, the paint rep at the body shop did a pretty good job of sticking it up my *** for materials and supplies. Like list plus 20%, or more, on some things. I'm glad I'll never have to deal with Industrial Finishes...

    Built vs Bought

If a guy with money has fun buying his hot rod that’s all that matters. Likewise for the guy who has fun building his car. I see no reason why either side should look down their nose at the other.

I wasn't trying to correct you, I was just having fun with the phrase out of the context that you used.

    Hypothetical Question

I might be wrong, but in Oklahoma a licensed but un- insured driver is not covered to drive my car. Unless I add them to my policy.
