Agree with the above. As long as there no "significant" additional power draw on the passenger side of the firewall you'll be fine. That means NO stereo, fuel pump, efi, etc.. HOWEVER, as the engine compartment won't be stock once you add efi, you could add a circuit breaker in the alternator...
I've noticed several posts with drivers saying they carry an extra ballast in their car. Dang things could go bad at the most inconvenient time. Fortunately mine was at home.
That’s my thoughts on it all , I raised you from a baby to full on adulthood. You didn't go to jail you had food and a place to sleep. I did my part and after 18 you are on your own make it or break it.

Not all of them. Some early 70's were known to lack the reflectors. I agree though, most 70 lenses lacked the chrome if the car came with the taillight finish bezel. Lower-end 70's had the chrome-edged taillights when they lacked the finish bezel.
