Painted and drywalled the apartment project, listening to the deadbeats upstairs let their children run laps and body slam each other jumping off furniture. Sounded like they were gonna come through the damn ceiling! Friday is their court-ordered vacate date though....so now I'm sitting watching...
The 2 white boxes to the left look to have outlets in them - EV chargers? Something also tells me at least one of them is tied to a solar bank...and one looks to be a heavy-up to add the HVAC unit....
This is what happens when you don't plan your expansion ...
Or...yea...meth lab/grow house...
So, stepson still has a stepfather-provided car, but no insurance to be able to drive it?
It sounds like a pattern, from the information in your original post...
If it were me? Hammer him on the insurance. If he can't/won't? Drive them yourself. We leave at XX hour, and I'll pick you up at YY...
It doesn't take much to topple the mast on the hoist.
It also doesn't take much to properly triangulate it.
But I guess you're smarter than EVERY engineer who designed a cherry picker hoist.
Just look at the rating on the switches (amperage), and the fuse for a horn.
I wouldn't use a switch anyway. Momentary button. Same amperage advice exists, though.
No, it's a standalone production company. We work in all sorts of venues - concert halls, sports arenas, outdoor venues, special events, you name it. Apparently last weekend included a magician in vegas...then a drive to LA for pyro at the clippers game. I havent been out there yet, but one of...
You "can" just run it through a switch, but it will sound anemic and possibly burn out the switch. Using a relay gives full juice to the horn, without running all that juice through the (likely Chinesium plastic) switch.
Appreciate the info. Definitely want to hear it all - good AND bad. Reality is, I have 3 dogs and those temps will be tough. And...no grass. That part is just weird to me. I mean, I get it - desert. But, I'm born and raised East Coast. Mountains. Foliage. GREEN, not brown. Looking around...
Waaaay early stages here, but I've been offered a job. A nice job. Nice money. But...it would require relocating to Vegas.
Anyone live out there, who can offer insights into life out that way? I visited once, 3 days, when I worked for Buell motorcycles...but spent the whole trip on the...
The flat stock is only potentially "flimsy" under compression - the side the boom is leaning TOWARDS.
However, it is ultra-strong in extension, or, the side the boom is leaning AWAY from. This MORE than counteracts the compression side, because (through triangulation) it keeps that side from...
I agree.
Michelle (and TONS of other people) loves saying "a person that works for me", or "the customer that came in"....NO!!!!! It's "a person WHO" and "a customer WHO"!!!!!
THINGS-that
PEOPLE-WHO!!!
Anymore when she says it, I just mutter "who" and she glares at me. Oh well, at least it...
+1 on the Uplula. Compact enough to fit in the range bag for practice days, and dirt-simple to use.
I do need to get some speed loaders for my wheel gun though...maybe someday. It's a novelty shooter anyway, not like I use it all that often (1952 Colt 4" OP given by my uncle, to my dad, before...
