Just to follow up on some questions that were posted… yes I confirmed #’s on vin tag, fender tag, radiator core support, trunk rail, trans, door decal and motor. Those who noticed the motor was not matching were correct. The original motor was outside of the car and I confirmed it’s #S.

Exactly, if it were some trick that was done in the past, it isn't practed anymore. But I cannot see what is described in the pics so, it is possible it was staining from fuel etc.

Yeah... I've been told that as well. But I don't trust the o-ring. And there's nothing stopping using the axel seal and the o-ring on the green bearing... so why not have both :)

I am going to agree with the above post that it will take $20K to get it in your garage. If it is a #'s motor and 4-speed, someone will surely pay that imo.
