That is probably the source of my belt squeal. All new pulleys from Bouchillon Performance Engineering are powder coated. Only squeals above 2300 RPM.

The belt on my boat was squealing. Had to tighten it too much to stop the noise. New made in China belts, two of them. Put on a used made in USA and the noise stopped. I suspect the belt quality is a problem.

First car was 73 Dart four door, biggest POS you’d ever see. Loud, slow but it started every single time and had the best heat in town.

The front valance molding was reproduced but has been out of stock for about 2 years. The rocker moldings are being reproduced from OER, I ordered a set from summit racing, they had best price. $275 plus $40 shipping if I recall. But had to wait two months to get them shipped direct from OER.

Was it rpm sensitive as mentioned above or a constant squeal?
