Fan belts squealing - can’t seem to solve

I would be looking at what accessories/devices these belts are driving. P/S & A/C? Belt squeal with all these different belts is not normal. Maybe one of the driven accessories is failing internally, building up a lot of friction/resistance.

    Pilot bushing seems oversized.

Maybe your engine was an automatic, and not drilled out for a bushing. Chances are that someone machine the crank and made a bushing fit as a custom fit.

While comparing a piece of the old bushing I...

Fan belts squealing - can’t seem to solve

Are the contact faces of the offending belt glazed at all??? Or are there cords showing on the faces? Roughing it up a touch with some fine sandpaper might change the noise - at least you'll hear a difference. Maybe the belt is just a poor-quality part off the line.
