    70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

Cool, mine is similar, but the rods go front to rear on the funny car part. I have a little handle I push forward to drop my net out of the way. Can't remember who I got it from. Car looks great. I bet you're eager to make a pass in it.

66 Coronet 500 Driver, Light Resto

Got it inside and found my fuel leak. It was not the seal like I assumed. It was the epoxy, looks like the fuel dissolved it, not sure what's going on with that, as I've used epoxy lots of times to seal fuel wires, so I guess for this one, I need to use some fuel tank specific epoxy.

Saturday Night Special (66 Belvedere Base)

My Bevedere II has the same wheel and hubcap combo currently. I have the proper wheels and hubcaps to go on it, just no reason to do it when the tires are like new that are on it and they're 15". Really like your car and live the black with those side moldings. These cars have really grown on...

Finally time to pull the trigger . . . starting on the New (much anticipated) SHOP - Build

I'm having my attic blown in by a friend's company. I'm not walking those beams in the dark carrying that huge hose. It's not pitch black, but low enough light to add to the danger.

The Hidden Social Security Math Nobody Shows Retirees

Ok, I have to comment on this thread, with the completely opposite point of view. Sorry Mark, didn't mean to single you out. I understand I have lived my life much differently than the majority of people on this board and have very, very few regrets. I was on one of my road trips with my close...

    66 Plymouth HP2

Wait, it doesnt even run? No guarantee all the parts are there? More like 35k or so, depending on what is missing when you take inventory. Guys think you just bolt this crap together and boom, you've got a complete hemi car running and driving, phffft, after 15k in machine work and all the...

Well damn, guess I won't be buying parts for awhile!

Funny, I did similar. Anytime I got laid off, I was back at my shop doing performance work and tuning cars on my dyno. A speed shop is fun, but no money and dealing with the public made it not worth it unless there was nothing else on the table. And you're right, it filled in the gaps of my...

Well damn, guess I won't be buying parts for awhile!

That sucks to hear for you OP. I know how that feels. Just remember it's not personal even tho it feels that way right now. I am older, 68, and I was 62 when I took this job. I look much younger than I am, which helped, but the point I'm trying to make is, it's never too late to snag that dream...

    Some people's children, I swear.....

Yes. If I remember correctly, they had a pin you could pull out and lower the pinion snubber to the bottom for street use.

Pearls of wisdom from your dad.

My dad always told me to be handy, be able to fix things, learn how to do things around the house and fix your car. You have to have something to offer to a woman so she'll want to be with you, as anyone can call a repair man.

    Some people's children, I swear.....

I had lakewood slappers on my 68 camaro and a couple others to stop wheelhop and they worked. Never had them or needed them on a mopar, as my 6 pack roadrunner hooked and went pretty well on the street.

    66 Plymouth HP2

Pre 68 blocks have no serial numbers on them, so if the assembly date is before the build date, no one will argue the engine isn’t the original. And there is no way to prove it isn't the original engine unless the dates are wrong.

For all you Swifties out there. JK, I know there are none, but this is a funny story.

Offensive line really stepped up, that steelers defense is no slouch.

Lol. I like my team. Bengals creamed the steelers last night. Not really, but they knocked them on their heels and came out with a win. Heck of a football game.
