Putting highway gears behind a high stall

The only vehicle I have that this is a problem is the 68 Charger RT. The engine runs best at 3200 - 3400 at highway speed. The 3:23 gears would be no problem even with the 265/60/15's. But not many states haven't gone to the 80 mph speed limit. 2:74 gears would just be asking for trouble with...

    Valve Body Stand

Five FSM's, three pacific built manuals and a complete parts manual if in doubt. One Chrysler trans bible and complete training manual. One what to do on the cheap book for before performance parts were common. They all show things a bit different. Depending on the year things do change. Even...

1972 RR 440 won’t start after running fine. Battery and fuses seem good. Replaced alternator, voltage regulator and ballast resistor. Any ideas?

I refuse to replace a whole compartment wire harness over one wire that needs repair. Good grief. Maybe for those that have no clue how to fix anything other than replacing the car over a part it would be the safe way to go.

I got ripped off on my 727 deal now I need advice.

71 383 could have cast or steel crankshaft. He needs to know which it is. Flex plate will work on either. If the converter has a weight and doesn't need to be there simply remove it. But you need yo know what the crankshaft is made of. Vibration dampener is the clue. Post a picture. Steel is...

Replacing the electronic ignition with points - 1977 400 4V

It will overheat and melt down if used wrapped in foil. Plus batteries will no longer work. So how you going to power it?

Suggestions wanted for QUIET good flowing mufflers (sleeper build)?

He had better forget any type of performance. Big block Mopar and quiet isn't happening. You can hide the sound by running it out back. But someone will still be hearing it with any kind of peddle.

Suggestions wanted for QUIET good flowing mufflers (sleeper build)?

Not sure where one per side Imperial mufflers would fit a B body without floor pan modifications. Those mufflers were huge.
