Good morning, can someone tell me what goes in that spot to keep the cable from sliding out of the big end of the hole? I don't think that oddball bolt was OEM, was it a plastic plug or nothing (just tension)? Just need to know what I'm searching for if it's missing something.

I concur that 91 pump gas is fine. 93 is better if you have it which my state does, but 91 isn’t a problem . Never had any issues with 10.5:1 on pump gas at 91 or higher.
