A quick P.S.A. for all to read

My Dad (bless his heart) texted me some photos that he took on vacation with the caption "you'll never guess where we are." I sent him the exact address and time of day of the photo, and now he thinks I'm a Wizard. Apparently this is sorcery.

    Brake flaring tool question

I have been flaring tubing for years. With various flaring sets, including an OTC version for doing bubble flares. Agreeing with KD, they all suck in their own special ways. Requiring much practice to get a satisfactory flare with each type. I just got the one KD posted, from Amazonian though...

    Minii starter disaster job.

I really did think the starter would be a problem with my 318 in the Tukvan. It was not. The E shop fixed it. It was heavy, but bunged in just fine. Dodge starters are geared, which I assume gives them the distinct sound. One advantage I have, is a bit more ground clearance. One disadvantage I...

    Who Likes Aircraft ?

Just went to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinville OR friday.... saw the Spruce Goose, an SR71, a Texan, 177 Stealth fighter, X-11 replica, and a wonderfully restored DC3 amongst many others, and something I did not expect that was super exciting: 1 of 9 surviving ME292 jet...
