    Just last month replaced the 5/8" return hose on my 66 Charger 383. Think it was the original hose, was leaking at the steering box.

    They had 5/8" return in 1958-1961 also. 1957 has a different style steering pump, not sure whatnthe return hose size was.

    If they are stock pistons and rods on an aftermarket crank it's going to be tough to balance. Those cranks are generally conterweighted for wedge pistons and aftermarket rods. My 4.500" stroke/4.530" wedge with a 7.100" steel rod is 2367 grams. With a lighter piston and thinner pin it was 2222...
