Great idea... thanks Mike. I have a solid grasp of residential and machine electrical, but admittedly am a bit weak when it comes to automotive electrical. For a guy whose been a professional machine electrician for over 35 years, it's kind of embarrassing really.

Where I grew up in PA, we did the same thing to the Duster, Volare and LeBaron. I'd probably do the same today, but my old Mopars NEVER see Winter or salt. My daily driver (truck) has 4wd, so no need to swap to Winter treads.

I have no experience with them, but someone here on FBBO at one point recommended John Wolf and Co for rebuilding them. Allegedly, they have a 3 day turn around and you get your sending unit back all rebuilt and they work correctly. The phone is (440) 942-0083 Willoughby, OH. ($135).

I'm in the process of making the interior of my '73 Charger.. uhh... livable. In looking through my pile-o-parts, I'm wondering how the sail panels attach. It looks like there is only one clip to hold it on. That can't possibly be true, can it? Has anyone installed these before. @Nacho-RT74
