    The inspector stamp may mean the car was assembled @ Lynch Road - my '68 RR has that stamp. My St Louis '68-'69 cars didn't/don't have that stamp.

    I'm not talking about the word Craftsman in giant letters, anyone can read that. But even those big letters are fuzzy. I'm on my PC now and still can't make out the words under Craftsman or the others clearly. But they are easy to read on the image I uploaded.

    No, it allows the beer cans to exit the truck bed more easily. I used to live in Texas. :) An open tailgate also allowed a large toolbox to fall out in front of traffic in Fort Worth. What a mess.
