Did Plymouths ever accidentally receive Dodge steering wheel emblems? 1969 GTX question..

I would say yes. In the mid-late 70's I worked at a Dodge dealership. We got allot of miss-badged cars in. Cordobas and Chargers Aspen and Volaries. Interior and exterior.

Any actual auto body guys here? I have a question about what is considered totaled.

I can only see so far behind the impact bar until I take it apart. But it looks like the quarter panel is ok. Its just the impact bar and what it is directly attached to that I don't know.

    Bellhousing ID help

I think there are 2 flywheel sizes for that era of trucks, 172 teeth in light duty trucks and 186? Tooth in industrial, large trucks. Your flywheel may be the right diameter but the starter nose depth and gear pitch is probably wrong. In the mid 70s I read Chrysler came out with a new industrial...

"AB-30" 273 CID V8 Fendertag, is correct for 273 V-8 2-bbl. carbureter engine. Should-have number's "273" on hood ornament, & small "V8" emblems on frt. fenders, as your does... Also, the 273 engines in B-body cars in 1965 were painted in a bright red color, specifically referred to as: "Mopar...

Did Plymouths ever accidentally receive Dodge steering wheel emblems? 1969 GTX question..

I’m looking at a 1969 GTX ‘survivor’ (sort of) and it seems pretty original other than the aftermarket stereo. I noticed that the steering wheel emblem isn’t the Plymouth emblem but Dodge. Did the factory ever make mistakes like this? A GTX was a pretty high end car for an error like that...
