About 25 years ago I had a set of dynomax headers on a truck. Came jet hot coated inside and out. Worked well for heat control. Still looked good on top half. Bottom looked rough and rusty after a few winters.
I’ll tell you, look into this stuff that builds up muscles in the way you use them. All my life, I’d lift and do what was common. Turns out, we basically never use our body in straight lines. I want to look more into dead hangs, then pulls ups, maybe even on a rope if I can get strong enough...
Thanks to those and some other exercises I was told to do after slipping a disc, I’m as old as I want to be. Sometimes. These two are newer ones I stumbled upon in trying to find a quicker routine that addressed my needs. Another good one is to use that stool from the curls to add a decline push up.
That’s a slick idea. Thanks for sharing.
Also the odyssey has been my choice of battery for several years now. I’m using a group 34 in the GTX and whatever it called for in the daily. Pure awesomeness that doesn’t require a battery tender.
I suggest looking into doing Jefferson curls and...
Then there’s this car. I came dangerously close to owning it. Hired an inspector, was contemplating if I should fly out to see it or take the biggest risk of my life on it. Same thing, it was sitting unsold in a hot market, I’d watched the price come down to where I’d bother to call. Then my GTX...
I should’ve bought the white 70 charger rt with ac back in 2020 or 2021. It was a 727 car and the ac didn’t work. I’m pretty sure that was the one that had a rear main leak too. He wanted 60k. It was a western car and he was having the same problem selling it as I ran into. I could see those...
A factory white car is either the worst or second worst color. Severely limits its finished value. I dare say it’d be worth more with a color change, even if done to concour level. I saw a bronze hemi road runner sell in the last month that was perfectly changed over to black and it brought...
The engine the Six pack was on was some cast crank deal I didn’t build. It idled like a pro stocker. Wild guess would be something like a 484 mp type. Around that time I was fooling with both a 750 vacuum Holley and also an 850 dp. Could’ve been either. I had a few cars at the same time back then.
Go right ahead and ask whatever you need. We do have a few puds that will post “do a search,” but that’s just because they like to whine and complain. Best thing for them to do is leave threads alone when they claim they don’t want to see them. Meanwhile you can collect the latest information...
Congrats. I have savored the long game working out a few times. Those are the best.
Do the right thing, reMopar that Mopar! Perfect time, if a small Chebby fit then an A engine will go in too.
Anything from factory up to a 750 vacuum secondary will work. The smaller carbs will limit the power. You’ll get guys that will tell you a big carb will not have response, I only know what works because I’ve actually done before and after myself. I’ve been there and done that with a 70 383 HP...
Yeah, seriously. I’ve dealt with enough rust to know I’m not doing that again. Thirty years in the hobby will do that to you. Maybe someday I’ll find the right 73-74 rr, but it’s not looking good on that front. Any of the rust free ones are so expensive of an ask that it’s basically the same...
Gateway had a green 69 bee in the last year with them on it. You could see in the pics the wheels jut way out. I can’t say if it would cause a rub. Just a weird look on these cars.
