Sealer on the head bolts, ceramic sealer in the water jackets, run it. Just don't put a lot of money into it that isn't recoverable. (Heads and intakes can be re-used, sold)

Alright, good deal. sheet metal screws are acquired and rosette weld skills are moderate. I should be good to go. My door hinges are shot, so after those arrive I'll start cutting and prepare to mockup

You can bend them 6 ways from Sunday and they will only be correct part of the time. The problem is the rheostat on the new ones is not the same as the old ones. So as mentioned above, the ohm reading is not correct.

I just mounted these to the original bracket in my 69 RR. They fit fine. But the dash is out of the car.

The S and M speaker doesn’t have the correct mounting tabs. I’m guessing maybe the reason to save the old.

Mine are gray- i.e. sun faded. They have no texture and no sheen. I assume they are original, but I cannot confirm. Thanks in advance.
