NOS would be made the least expensive way as long as they look right installed. The OE ones would have been made with fast efficient assembly in mind - so they would have spent the extra penny to have the legs pre-bent.

On my 67 I also cut a hole in the k-frame in order to weld the front of the LCA pivot shaft to the k-frame, it's only welded to the k-frame on the rear, and you cannot weld the front from the outside. Maybe if you cut the pivot shaft opening wider, making sure not to mess up the shaft sleeves...

I needed these for my 62, impossible to find. After a generic ebay search I found later Ram truck ones that were identical, 'nos,' and dirt cheap. Maybe other years/models are the same as yours.

What was the answer? I’m in a similar situation.
