    Removal of factory spray?

I had the best luck taking that stuff off when it is a bit cold actually, like below freezing. You skim it with an air chisel and it comes off in huge chunks.

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

I always make it an event to see my daughter. I register late, usually an 1/2 hour before registration closes. Which ends up being 11am - noon time frame. So I show up around 10:30 and meet my daughter at the show. Then we walk around and look at the cars and then go to lunch somewhere in...

Partial troubleshooting: Fan control switch and blower motor not working

Yep, I already installed a different fan switch and it works on all speeds. This heater control assembly is a spare I'm restoring. Everything else was good. I just wanted to point out a relatively easy part to test and fix before yarding out the heater box.

    65 Coronet Dash/Ignition Problem

I don't have experience with a 65, but i'm guessing that your issue may be at the rear terminals of the alterantor ( amp meter) gauge. A short to ground on either wire connected to this gauge will burn up the link. In my 66 Charger, the 2 studs that come from the rear of the alt gauge housing...

Gear oil leaking from front of A833

And to add further, if the transmission functions just fine and doesn't make any noise I wouldn't do anything further other than stopping the leak. No sense in rebuilding something that doesn't need rebuilt lol.
