    Car Show Gripe/Rant

I'm just at a show to see the cars and talk with people. Yes I try and get whichever one I'm taking to look really good, somewhat for the other owners who work hard to get trophies and for people who go to the show to see cool stuff. But I never expect to win anything. I can tell you just about...

And you don't have to be neat or accurate ... many of those holes from the factory look like they were done with an axe!

Love those cars. I think those wheels were tasteful and not too tiny, like stock.

Conventional clutch guys - where do you keep the release point in your pedal?

There's always someone lol.....but usually there's always someone that learns from the info. Why start a new thread that deals with the same subject?

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I need a new coupler for my PTO to the deck jack shaft....can't find one anywhere so I just keep the blades good and sharp and run at a lower rpm. 8100 series garden tractor that I bought used in 87-88. All my junk is getting old.

A 3/8” front motor plate and a couple of limiters and you’re good to go. This will get you close for plate location. The AR plate sits flat on the frame rails in the right position. A couple of limiters works well at the trans. \\

Here's a couple of pictures of when I did my 67 Belvedere two years ago. I laid the hump in place, traced around it, then taped two markers together and retraced the outline to give me a second identical shaped outline about 1" to the inside of the initial outline. I then cut on the inside...

Any AMD promo codes out there?

Anyone got a working promo code on AMD stuff? Need to place a large order and the codes that were working a few months ago don't. Or are there any dealers that might have a volume discount and be easy to work with? I have a close dealer but its basically the same price as AMD with no volume...

The hump is on the side of the tunnel for the shifter clearance, the bellhousing and trans fit just fine. Get a hump and place it on the floor, it only fits on one spot. Mark around the hump and remove. Cut and inch inside of the mark you made around the hump and you are done.

what carb to use on stock 383

For that application I’d run an avs from a 440. Run the exhaust at 2.5 from manifolds if the are the hp style. I’m not sure if you have hp ones or not. The factory ran 2.25 on the hp 383 to save a buck. Run the bigger one to match the outlet. If you have a lo po set it might not be possible.

Tunnels are the same dimensions auto or manual. You only need to add the 4speed hump and cut out the excess metal. Just make sure you get the 4 tunnel for a 66-70 B body. You can find a bunch online or place an ad here in the WANTED - Mopar Parts and Cars - WTB forum...

    Do you dread family gatherings?

As many here have experienced, time will thin the family. Mom passed decades ago, Dad this last winter. Dad's second wife is still here and doing fairly well. The five siblings and the second wife, sadly, are scattered all over the US. Getting together is a major deal. Up here I'll be at the...

Add the 4-speed hump to the floor pan and cut out the existing metal under the hump and you have all the necessary clearance.
