Promax 6-pack End Carb Plates Sealing?

I researched the factory OEM plate holes & converted that hole size into Holley jet size. I also changed the Promax idle fuel bleed hole to .029” same as OEM plates. I think Promax plates came with .038” holes (?). My goal was to start with OEM sizes and work from there

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

Nothing wrong with pride in ownership. A lot of guys don’t have the time, facilities or the skill set necessary to build a car. They still have every right to enjoy the hobby, even if all they can do is write a check. My biggest peeve is guys that lobby for votes at the local shows, I swear...

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

I've never had a show car and likely never will (due to cost). Years ago I had a very nice 70 Chevelle convertible that looked like it could be show quality until you were actually right up next to it. Drove it to the Peggy Sue car show in Windsor, CA. As we got near the venue there was a ton...

WTB I am in the beginning stage of looking for a 1968 Superbee to purchase.

Its a shame how many of these cars are sitting in these fields. I saw a few very desirable cars. He is saying in the video that all the cars are "salvaged" titles. But Ive read you can clear that if you restore the car. Is that true in every State?

Buying a car is fair enough. Buying it to win trophies? Meh.

    Fuel Pump Slowly Dies

High vol pump has a stiffer spring which can and does wear out the little pushrod that works the pump. A hardened fuel pump pushrod may be your solution. Ive been there. Dont want to go back. Good luck.

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

I don't think the issue is with buying and enjoying a beautifully restored vintage car...it's with those owners trailering their queens to the prom and fussing over winning trophies on a car they just bought. I knew a guy in high school just like that. Rich kid, bought himself a done mid-60's...

I managed to drop the trans fluid out of the’58 without making a mess, that may be a first for me. There was a little clutch dust in the pan and some super fine particles stuck to the magnet, but not enough to cause any alarm…

WTB I am in the beginning stage of looking for a 1968 Superbee to purchase.

Having said that, a Bee or an R/T that were optioned with my bucket seats and console would be top notch. But I happen to like the 500 emblem and taillights.
